Help us share some love and have the chance to win a Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Race Car from Long Road Racing! We had such great success with our 2017,2018 and 2019 giveaway that we're' doing it again in 2020!
Anywhere you look, you can see the love and support of Lemons of Love in the racing community. "Proud Supporter of Lemons of Love" stickers are all over the Mazda MX-5 Paddock and Sarah Montgomery rocked the Lemons of Love logo for the past several years.
Our lemon tree is growing so quick and we look forward to branching into new hospitals and oncology centers over the next year. We doubled our growth and deliveries between our third and fourth year and this will help us do the same in 2019.
With a little help from our friends in the racing community, we have the opportunity to secure another Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car from Long Road Racing with the bright 'lemon yellow' roll cage as seen in the picture above. You can have a look at the entire building process of these cars here.
As you know the Global MX-5 Cup car is one of the coolest, most versatile race cars in the country. You can race it at your local track, in SCCA, Nasa, Track Days, and if you're really ambitious, the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Series is the way to go.
Lemons of Love’s Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car Giveaway concluded on March 16th, 2019 at Sebring International Raceway when Mitchell Bender, pulled the winning ticket. Mitchell is "glowing" in the picture on the right with his friends from Advanced Autosports.
“Speechless and humbled sum up the feelings after finding out I was lucky enough to win the Mazda MX-5 Global Cup car raffle.
After having lost three good friends to cancer recently, Barb Hondros, Ann O’Malley and Dave Wheeler it opened my eyes to how important the work Jill and her Lemons of Love team do. I saw first hand the joy Lemons of Love brings to people fighting the toughest battle of their lives.
Look for the Lemons of Love distinctive yellow roll cage MX 5 Global Cup at races this year driven by both myself and Danny Bender. We plan on making all those involved proud!
Thanks to Lemons of Love, Mazda Motorsports, Long Road Racing, Fast Cooling, Bell Helmets and all the other donors for their support of this great cause. This is a charity that your dollars go directly to making a difference and worthy of all of our ongoing support.”

Lemons of Love’s Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car Giveaway concluded on March 17th, 2018 at Sebring International Raceway when John Doonan, head of Mazda Motorsports, pulled the winning ticket.
“I woke up to this news today, and I could hardly believe it. I am beside myself right now,” are the first words Lemons of Love received from winner of the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car, Daniel Miller.
Daniel has been serving in the United States Air Force for over 12 years, and is currently stationed in overseas. Daniel told Lemons of Love that he felt moved by the Lemons of Love mission because his mother is a cancer survivor. Daniel stated, “I love what your charity does, and I will continue to donate for years to come.”Lemons of Love is thrilled that the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car went to someone as special and deserving as Daniel Miller
“The charity is honored to give this race car to a service member of our country,” says founder of Lemons of Love, Jill Swanson Peltier. “This year’s giveaway surpassed our expectations as well as last year’s donations by about 45%. It has been such an amazing fundraiser for us. We are grateful for the help of the many companies and individuals who have taken the time to share the fundraiser and help us spread the word.”
Congratulations to Daniel Miller, the new owner of Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car! Thank you for your service and your donation to Lemons of Love.

Drake Kemper. Truly, one of my favorite companions in racing!
I have had the absolute honor of knowing Drake and his incredible family for about 3 years. We first met in 2014 when we were both racing in the Skip Barber Mazda MX-5 Cup Series, where he kicked my butt! We were both newbies to the series so we got along well being the underdogs.
In 2016 and 2017, we were on opposing teams, but on track treated each other as teammates. There are not many people in the racing world that would work with a non-teammate to get to the front of the racing pack as Drake and I did.
When I started working with Lemons of Love, the entire Kemper family jumped on board with supporting the charity through donations, shout outs, promotions and stickers on their racecars! Drake was one of the very first people to donate to the charity to be entered for the chance to win a brand new Mazda MX-5 Cup Car and HE WON!
Drake was in disbelief when he found out he won, even texting me to stop joking around! He was thrilled! Drake and his dad, Dana, were relaying to Jill, Founder of Lemons of Love, and I the BIG plans Drake has for the car! We can’t release too many details, but we were informed that the MX-5 Cup Car will be covered in Lemons of Love livery! We are very happy and thrilled that the giveaway was such a huge success and even more ecstatic that the car is going to one of our supporters!
"I was extremely blessed to have the winning ticket in the Lemons of Love raffle for the Mazda Global MX-5Cup Car. As I am starting a racing academy next year, it will be super beneficial to have an additional MX5. Thank you so much to Mazda, Lemons of Love, and all of the donors for the support. I'm so glad we raised so much money for a phenomenal cause!"
